About Me - Randy Layman

Well, I figured it was about time for us to do one of these "About Us" pages. This page won't be a super formal "we are the best people in the world pages", but a regular page with some info. on who runs this website.

My name is Randy and I'm a poker player and webmaster in North Central Arkansas. I've been playing poker for a little over 5 years, I started playing like many others after I watched Chris Moneymaker win the WSOP ME in 2003. After seeing that, I decided if he could win, so could I.

I started playing poker right after that, and played mainly at Paradise Poker, which at that time was one of the oldest and most popular sites. Of course now, US players cannot play there, but it was a very profitable site back in the day.

I've won a little under a quarter million dollars playing poker in the last 5 years, I play regularly both live at Tunica, MS and online at sites like Cake Poker, Pokerstars, and Full Tilt. I've been lucky enough to have some great coaches over the years, and I've won a few major online tournaments. Poker has been a blessing to me and my family, and this website is my way of trying to give something back.

When the UIGEA passed poker players like myself had a hard time finding good sites to play at with good bonuses, and rakeback. New poker rooms started popping up everywhere, so were legit and some were not. So i decided to start a website listing only the most trusted poker rooms that offer the best bonuses, promotions and in most cases offer good rakeback deals as well.

I started this project over a year ago, and now it has gotten bigger than I could have dreamed. We have helped our visitors and members get over a million dollars in rakeback and bonuses, and we keep a close eye on the poker rooms and how they treat their players.
