Path 1: MTT Step Tournaments
If you choose to take path 1 and play MTT satellites, there will only be 4 games between you and Las Vegas.
At the lowest level, you will have two choices -- freezeouts or rebuy with addons. If you go the freezeout route, the lowest step will start at $2.20. Being a winner here will earn you a seat to the $16.50 freezeout, then the $90 Semi Final and then the $490 final.
The other option is the $1.10 R/A. Winning here earns you a set to the $9.90 R/A which then goes to the $90 Semi Final and then the $490 Series Final. For each tournament, one winner will be awarded for every buy-in generated for the next level.
Winners of the Series Final will win a $13,000 Main Event package.
Path 2: Sit and Go Steps
Path 2 consists of step SNGs. There are 7 steps in all, with the winner(s) of the Final being awarded a $2,500 WSOP package.
The lowest step (1) will have a buy-in of $2.00, and the last step (7) will have a buy-in of $873.33. Players can start at any step they want. Two seats for the following step will be awarded per game.
There are also two satellites for those of you that would like to bypass a couple of steps without having to buy-in directly. One satellite will cost you $2.20 and it's a R/A. A step 3 seat will be awarded for every $15 in the prize pool. The second satellite is a $1.10 freezeout. This will award a step 2 seat for every $5.56 in the prize pool.
